Dear Shirley & Family,
I worked for Don Walker in 1999-2002 at Reach Consulting. You may remember me and my son, Michael. I really enjoyed talking with Sheldon and listening to him and Don talking about life at Post 303! Of course, I hadn't seen him for a long time - we went our separate ways - and I did not realize he was ill. He was very proud (and rightly so) of his service to our country, and he would get mad at me for wasting coffee in the office. I wanted to make a fresh pot, and he wanted me to warm the leftover coffee. We laughed about it together.
Shirley, we send our deepest sympathy & prayers for you and your family at this very sad time. With our deepest sympathy, Kathy (and Jerry) Niedbalski

We will truly Miss You Uncle Sheldon. I will never get you. You will always be in my heart. I remember you and Aunt Shirley just got a kick out of Connor when he was just a year old. When you, Aunt Shirley, Mom, Dad. Donna, Chris, Connor and I ate at Honker's every Sunday after church. I also remember going to Aunt Shirley and your house when you guy's lived on 21st Street in River Park. And Jennifer Name and I would go outside and run in the sprinkler with are clothes on. Then are parents wouldn't let us in to your guy's house till we were completely dry. I also remember back in the 80s when we all get together on Christmas Eve at your house or Mom and Dad's house. I Love you Uncle Sheldon and Aunt Shirley. Love Always Your Niece Marcia ( Maxey ) Greenwood

My deepest sympathy to the Maxey family, especially Shirley, Tony, and Tracy.

I certainly enjoyed Sheldon, at work, and as a friend and neighbor. He is someone that I could never forget. I still make the steak jerky each fall that he taught me how to make. The fun we had riding to work together-I can not even start to tell you about, and probably shouldn't. His visit to the funeral home a couple of years ago when my brother passed was an unexpected gift that I will never forget.

What a great guy.

Your husband/father will live in my heart as he will live yours, forever.
