Rylan is in our prayers. While I did not know Rylan, Scouting bonds are tight. Rylan was a fellow Order of the Arrow Brother to me and my son Gregory. He was also in the Owl patrol at National Youth Leadership Training with my son.

We first met Rylan, when he stopped by our house to remember our daughter Macy on her 15th birthday. Today she continues to keep his spirit alive with memories she holds close to her heart, as she wears that beautiful necklace he gifted her that day. Rylan was an inspiration to so many. Words are not adequate enough to express the sorrow we are feeling for your entire family. We continue to pray for strength as you go through these difficult days ahead.

Ted and family: Our hearts break for this young man that had so much promise in the world. Rylan was a dedicated volunteer to many organizations and that says much about his upbringing. He was also a devoted Scout in Troop #257, that had an ultimate goal of attaining the Rank of Eagle. He will be remembered by many!

We all at Mooney's were saddened to hear of Ryans passing. He was an extended member of our family as his sister Olivia was an employee. We always enjoyed his infectious smile and appetite for ice cream. Just this summer he wouldn't let me carry my clubs from my car to the cart at the 4:12 Golf Outing. He did it for me. He was very helpful to everyone that day. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

As a sub teacher, I learned that Rylan had continued to be a great young man, who was always polite, respectful, and caring.

When I first saw your post I knew I had seen you and Rylan somewhere but couldn't place you. I finally remembered. I had designed your business cards at The UPS Store. I am so sorry for the loss of your son. I know you were so proud of him as you shared about the two of you doing outside jobs to help people. That is reflected in all that is being said about Rylan. I have been praying for your family and will continue to do so. Scripture says in Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. " Praying the Lord will comfort you in a special way during this very difficult time and always.

My heart is breaking for your family. I was so sorry to hear the news of Rylan's passing. I work at Riverside Intermediate School and enjoyed having him as a student there.
