2 Beautiful People. May God continue to bless the Sedlar family during this time of loss. Merv & Winnie were very kind and helpful to us in the 70's when we came to Pgh, PA as young lieutenants. We have fond memories of them which will last a life time.

To The Family and Loved Ones of Mrs. Sedlar (Winnie)
Words cannot express how I feel. She was a Saint, she was a mother to not only her daughters but to the many of us as teens at the Homestead Salvation Army, she was an inspiration and an example of a good Christian woman. I can only imagine the celebration and joy there was as she was greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Merv and Winnie together again.

Love and Prayers
Sandy

Winnie was one of the most beautiful, sweet Christian women I have ever had the privilege of meeting. I know she and Merv will both be missed greatly by all that knew them. Prayers are with the family. I pray that the knowledge that they both are now in the arms of Jesus will be a comfort to you.

My heartfelt condolences to the family upon the loss of these two wonderful souls, Winnie and Merv. Winnie trained me in the secretarial duties of serving the Divisional Commander in Portland, Maine, had me over for walks on the beach, suppers and piano/organ duets that she enjoyed by me and Merv. Winnie was a rare woman of God. My memories of her are fond and I will never forget her.

I am so sorry for all of you. It's never easy to say goodbye but they are together again as I'm sure they wanted to be. I remember the first time I met them at the Shongum Rd house and I told them I was an atheist I think back and have to laugh. I always loved my trips to Maine. Love Karolee

Winnie and Merv were an encouragement to me as a young teen new to the Army. They were always supportive, loving and fine examples of Christ in action for me growing up and even after I left for training. Well done, good and faithful servant.
