Darlene E. Bocker, 88, residing in South Bend, formerly of Reading, Massachusetts, passed away Friday, August 26, 2016.  Darlene was born on May 7, 1928 in Oregon, Illinois to the late John and Eva (Rausch) Leddy.  She was married to Ralyn M. Bocker, Sr., who preceded her in death.

Darlene worked as an insurance agent for many years.

Darlene is survived by her daughter, Holly Bocker of South Bend, Indiana; two sons, Ralyn M. (Maureen) Bocker, Jr., of Downers Grove, Illinois; and Charles Bocker of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania; nine grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; two sisters, Marine Kuethe of Oregon, Illinois and Jackie (Jim) Dehler of Rockford, Illinois. Her daughter, Kathy Sommerville, preceded her in death.

Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, South Bend, IN is assisting the family with arrangements.
