Donna L. (Miltenberger) Goldstone

Donna L. Goldstone, 77, of South Bend, IN passed away at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at her home.  She was born in South Bend, IN on June 26, 1938 to the late Phillip and Cleo (Mishler) Miltenberger and remained a lifelong area resident.  Mrs. Goldstone was one of the first women to work in a coal mine.  On July 11, 1990 in Rockford, IL, she was united in marriage to Bryant Goldstone.

Mrs. Goldstone is survived by her husband, Bryant Goldstone; six daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Burkhart of Edwardsburg, Dena Parry of Mishawaka, Robin Jones of Edwardsburg, Stephanie (Carlos) Péna and Cindy Goldstone both of South Bend and Terry (Antonio) Lopez of Granger; three sons, Bryant (Bethany) Goldstone, Jr. of Granger, Michael Goldstone and Larry Goldstone both of South Bend; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings and sons, Robert Holley and David Reed.

The family wants to thank Center for Hospice; and a very special thank you to her nurse, Michelle for her loving care.

Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-River Park, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, where friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
