It is with great pleasure that I remember Dr. Freeman Wright. I was the Department Administrative Assistant from 1985-2006. He was always very kind. I knew him to be a good husband, father & grandfather. You always learned something from him. He was a veri intelligent but quiet man. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his children, Bradley, Susie & John at this time of loss.

It was an honor to have Dr. Wright serve as my Masters Thesis Committee Chairman. Without his guidance and support I would not have been able to gain the insights I needed to succeed in my doctoral coursework to follow but also in becoming an accomplished professor at West Hills College and CSU Fresno. I am grateful for the role he played in my life. My sincere condolences to the family. He will be missed.

I only had a chance to meet Freeman a few times. Before I met him, my friends all raved about the stories he told while smoking cigars with him at the Tinder Box in Mishawaka. Not being a cigar smoker myself I was not inclined to commiserate at the smokey venue, but the lure of Freeman and the stories of his life drew me in. It was a distinct pleasure to have met and shared stories with Professor Freeman. I will miss seeing his smiling face and the intriguing stories of his adventurous life.

Dear Susie, Brad, and John.
Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your exceptional father. He was a dear person, a good friend, and a wonderful brother-in-law. A highlight of my life was our trip to Ecuador to revisit his old haunts and explore new ones, roaming the art galleries and eating fabulous food. Going to Notre Dame games and eating at the LaSalle Grill & drinking espresso at Susie's house are all good memories, as are card games at the Glynn's house and Butte trip with Doris and Richard. Freeman was a good story-teller and his reminisces were funny and happy. His family was very important to him, he always brought me up-to-date on grandkids accomplishments and details of their lives. I will miss Freeman greatly and our phone calls and visits. He was an exceptional man, and above all a wonderful friend. Now he is reunited with his dear wife,Sally, snd they are together again in the "forever"
Love, Aunt Steve

Susan and family,

We enjoyed talking to your Dad out on the Arborwood front patio when my Dad lived there. He was a very intelligent person who always had a interesting story to tell. We most recently ran into Freeman at La Espereza about a month ago. He will be missed! My condolences to your family. Carrie and family

To the Wright Family,
I had the pleasure of taking Freeman out and about on our many adventures . My company Senior Helpers or as jokingly Freeman referred to us as , "Santa's Helpers" is where I met Freeman. He was an adventurous , independent , and delightful character to be around . Because of him , I got to enjoy driving adventures and was introduced to places like Mosers, La Esperanza, Tinder Box etc. I always looked forward to our time together and I will sorely miss his humor , spunkiness, and larger than life character . I'm left with many fond memories and stories of his life .
Deepest sympathy
Tiana

To the family and loved ones of Freeman Wright, my name is Frank and I work with Senior Helpers. I had the pleasure of working with Freeman several times and he was one of my favorite people to work with. I have fond memories of hanging out at the cigar shop and having dinner at La Esperanza, where he was known by name, talking about everything from movies to sports to the art that hung in his room. I enjoyed listening to the stories that he told about his fascinating life. I just want to say I'm truly sorry for your loss. I think I can say on behalf of my fellow caregivers and his friends at the places he frequented, he will be missed by a great number of people.
