MISHAWAKA – Jessie Edwards, 63, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away at 9:24 AM Sunday, March 9, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. He was employed with the City of South Bend.  Jessie was born on September 12, 1951 in Greenville, Mississippi to Will Sam Edwards and Lizzi (Smith) Edwards. 

Jessie is survived by four sons, Edward (Millie) Johnson of South Bend, Sammie Winters of South Bend, Salmen (Ashley) Winters of Mishawaka and Willie Johnson of South Bend; twelve grandchildren; five brothers, Will S. (Erma G.) Edwards, Harrison (Annita) Edwards, Benny Edwards, Ronnie Edwards and Alford (Tee) Edwards; and one sister, Fannie M. (Robert) Harris; along with a host of family and friends to cherish his memory.  Jessie was preceded in death by his daughter, Jessica Johnson.
