John C. Everman

John C. Everman, 72, of Bristol, IN passed away at 11:27 p.m. Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Elkhart General Hospital.  He was born on December 15, 1944 in Niles, MI to the late Chester and Dorothy (Zalas) Everman.  On June 22, 1963 in North Liberty, IN, he was united in marriage to June R. (Peddycord) Everman, who survives.

John is also survived by three daughters, Cheryl (Guy) Massing of Elkhart, IN, Kelly (Harvey) Thompson of Knox, IN and Karen (James) Carlisle of Mattawan, MI; eight grandchildren; three great grandsons; sister, Delores Bricker of Cahokia, IL; one niece and three nephews.

John lived most of his life in Michiana.  He worked for F & F Machine in Elkhart, IN and Merrifield Metal Products in South Bend, IN.  He enjoyed his skills as a handyman.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Palmer Funeral Home, 202 N. Main Street, North Liberty, IN.  There will be no services.  Burial will take place at a later date at Eastlawn Cemetery, North Liberty, IN.
