Nora E. (Tucker) Zottneck

Nora E. Zottneck, 80, of South Bend, IN passed away at 9:42 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Memorial Hospital.  She was born on October 27, 1935 in Long Rapids, MI to the late Williams T. and Isabelle G. (Edmonds) Tucker.  On July 25, 1959 in Kinde, MI, she married Lawrence W. Zottneck.

Mrs. Zottneck is survived by her husband, Lawrence W. Zottneck; son, David (Lisa) Zottneck of Knox, IN; five grandchildren, Jason, Stephanie, Melissa, Heather and Timothy; ten great grandchildren; three sisters, Joan (Ray) Myers of St. Clair Shores, MI, Shirley (John) Hering of Hubbard Lake, MI and Gladys (Bill) Bennett of Hillman, MI and four brothers, William (Jean) Tucker of Poughkeepsie, NY, Cecil (Judy) Tucker of Goshen, IN, Thomas (Sue) Tucker of Hillman, MI and Maurice (Donna) Tucker of Hillman, MI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Christopher Zottneck on January 21, 2005 and Timothy Zottneck on June 5, 2015; sister, Elizabeth Ann Tucker and three brothers, Mac, Lloyd and Bernard Tucker.

Mrs. Zottneck moved to South Bend in 1987 coming from Portage, IN.  She taught school for several years before raising her family.  She worked part time at Calvary Temple and at the University of Notre Dame.  She was a member of Heartland Christian Center, Valparaiso, IN.

Funeral services will be held at  3:00 PM. Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Thursday.
