Patricia J. Cooper

Patricia J. Cooper, 66, of South Bend, IN passed away at 7:17 a.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her home.  She was born on September 1, 1949 in Bremerton, WA to the late Runar and Evelyn (Rodstrom) Nylund.  On December 17, 1971, she married Kenneth Cooper, who survives.

Mrs. Cooper is also survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Charles) Wells of Chicago, IL; son, Ryan (Sunni) Cooper of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Jason Wells, Benjamin Cooper and Evie Cooper; sister, Betty Kubli of Port Orchard, WA and brother, William (Kim) Nylund of Rhododendron, OR. 

Mrs. Cooper was a registered nurse.  She was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church of South Bend where she was very involved with the church.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Evangelical Covenant Church, 3025 Edison Road, South Bend, IN 46615.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service.  Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services, South Bend are assisting the family.
