Debbie and Family:
I was very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We were Pall Bearers together for Uncle Walter when he passed away. I enjoyed talking with Richard afterwards with two of my brothers Donn and Richard Walling. I spent time at the farm in Granger as a boy with all of the family and he told us of things his Dad had told him about those times.
I will always remember the gathering and meeting him then.
Again, my condolences. I know how much he will be missed!

It's always with sadness to learn of a death in the family. My heartfelt condolences to Richard's immediate family and to his sisters. May the memories made comfort you in the years to come. God Bless.

At Sears he was known as Rico. He told me his dad would turn over in his grave if he knew that's what he was being called. Such a hard-working man. It was a pleasure to work beside him. If he liked you, he had your back. I'm so glad his daughter Jessica got him to go to the doctor so we had three more years with him. He always had a joke, story or a picture to share. May you rest in peace my friend. May your family be strong, come together and find peace.

Debbie ( and family), I feel blessed to have gotten to know Richard. He always kept me on my toes with his wit and sense of humor. He was a gentle giant and I feel I am a better person for knowing him. I will wear my Purdue shirt with pride in remembrance of him.
Debbie, you were amazing to him, a wonderful wife, caregiver and nurse. Richard was blessed to have you. God bless you all, he loved you all dearly.

Debbie we are extremely sorry for your loss. We know Richard fought a long and difficult battle. You and the kids were a great comfort to him. Debbie you were always there by his side with Caity taking care of Richard and he appreciated all that you Stan, Caity and Jennifer did for him while he was ill. He also enjoyed Jessica's calls so he could see his little Lily and he loved all the time with little Bridget. They lit up his life. If there is anything we can do for you, let us know
