GRANGER – Robert E. Walters, 85, residing in Granger, IN passed away at 8:05 PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at Hearth at Juday Creek. Robert retired from AT&T after 30 years of service, then later he worked for the U. S. Postal Service. Robert was born on July 19, 1930 in Sullivan, IN to John and Eula (McCammon) Walters. He married Ann (Dudley) Walters, who survives.
Along with his loving wife, Ann Walters, Robert is also survived by his two daughters, Cindy (Walters) Stafford of Florida and Brittany (Dan) Doering of Indiana; two sons, Jerry Raley and Brian (Oduore) Walters both of Indiana; 4 grandchildren, Garik, Stacey, Tori and Makya; and one great grandchild, Aiden. One son, Bryan Walters preceded Robert in death.
Robert proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
There will be no services at this time. Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
