Ronald Paul Heltzel, Jr.

Ronald Paul Heltzel, Jr., 49, residing in Mishawaka, IN passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at his home.  Ronald was born on August 18, 1967 in Indiana to Ronald, Sr., and Marcy (Bundy) Heltzel.

Ronald is survived by his father; his children, Angelica (Brian) Ramsay of South Bend, IN, Ronald Paul (Sapphire) Heltzel, III of South Bend, Stephanie Heltzel of Mishawaka, Chelsea Bledsoe of Niles, MI, Mikalah Heltzel of Mishawaka and Kahleb Heltzel also of Mishawaka; six grandchildren, Elena, Brody, Paul, Ron, Finn and Sophiah; sister Melissa (Karl) Abraham of Elkhart, IN; brother, Phillip (Sonia) Diveto of Franklin, IN, and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Marcy in 2001; his step-mother, Betty Heltzel in 2009; granddaughter, Bailey in 2009; and a brother, Paul Heltzel in 2005.

Ronald served his county in the United States Army and was a Roofing Supervisor for South Bend Roofing.  He was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Services will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park; 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, IN.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
