I am deeply saddened to learn of Rosemary's passing. I met Rosemary in high school and we became very good friends. She was in my wedding. We went our separate ways but have exchanged Christmas cards since then. When I didn't hear from her this year, I had an awful feeling that something had happened. Please accept my condolences. I never met any of you, but I feel that I know you through her letters. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

To Rosemary’s family, I will not be able to attend the funeral, because I’m out of town, but I wanted to share a few words.

Rosemary was a great mentor to me, the first few years of my teaching career. You were a great teacher and during your time as a Transition Coordinator, you showed that you cared about your students, as a future adult, and helping them transition successfully into adult (no matter their abilities).

I remember the Christmas cards signed Rose and Cinnamon. Two of my special memories was when you told me about the Special Education Teaching job, my first teaching job. Also, the April Fool’s joke you pulled on me. I still laugh about it to this day.

I will cherish the times we all spent, Dennis, Rose, Otha and a few others eating lunch in the old business office. I learned so much from all of you and we always had some good laughs. You will be missed.

I enjoyed working with Ms. Torok at Adams High School. She was always so professional. We both shared a love for Luthur Vandros' music. We talked a lot about Cinnamon (her dog/baby) and the building of her home. It turned out so beautiful.
Rosemary was an asset to the South Bend Community School Corporation and especially John Adams. Rest in Peace.

I had the wonderful pleasure of getting to know Rose. My heart ached when I heard of her passing. I wish I would have had the chance to talk to her and hear her laugh one last time. She was an amazing woman and great friend. God bless you and give you peace ♡

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Torok was my sons (Shane Seymour) teacher and he had a deep admiration and respect for her. I also had the pleasure of meeting her and coming to her home. What a delightful lady! May you find comfort in knowing she touched many lives!
