Dear Marie, Mado and Michele,
"Tante" Simone and "Oncle" Charles will always be remembered for their kindness and generosity. We cherish the childhood memories of your visits to Cincinnati and of that summer when we visited in South Bend. Know that we are with you in spirit.

Dear Michelle and Family,
Please accept our condolences on the loss of your mother. She was always a gracious and calming presence when you were with Dr. Parnell in Angers with SUNDEF VII. Oscar Fonseca, whom I had not heard from in a long time, kindly notified us, through Tom Harrison, about your mother.
Sincerely,
Thomas Russo

To the wonderful Parnell daughters and their families,
I am SUNDEF VII and your mother was always delightful to us as was your father. Mine was the year the student in Innsbruck broke his leg and moved to Angers so your parents could care for him and even at that young age I realized how admirable that was of your mother to take on....your parents worked hard to take such good care of us all and were a large part of the spectacular year of growth we all experienced. I hope the cherished memories you have will comfort you. I grew up in Decatur so if passing through Bloomington for a visit will blow a kiss to you Mado !

Madeleine and Chris, Laura and Andy,
What an amazing couple they were! So nice we got to meet them at ND when our daughter Jean rec'd the Charles Parnell Award in 1994 and little did we know we'd become family of sorts with them due to your wedding, Laura and Andy!
Thank you, Madeleine and Chris, for your care-giving love over the past years. You have been a constant inspiration to those of us who know you!
Love and peace to you all, Mary Jo and Steve
