Teressa "Terry" A. (Lukacs) McNerney

Teressa “Terry” A. McNerney, 84, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana passed away at 2:55 PM Friday, September 18, 2015 at Sprenger Health Care, Mishawaka.

Terry was born on May 24, 1931 in South Bend, Indiana to the late John Lukacs and Elizabeth (Baranyai) Lukacs and has lived in this area for most of her life.  She also lived in Arizona for 16 years.  She is a graduate of Washington Clay High School and later attended Memorial Nursing School, graduating in 1951, as a registered nurse. She worked at a variety of places including Memorial Hospital; a nursing home; as an occupational health nurse at the former Torrington Co.; and she finished her nursing career at the St. Joseph County Health Department.

On August 2, 1952 at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Church, Mishawaka, she was united in marriage to John M. Hall, who has preceded her in death on November 13, 1979.  On March 21, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV she married Charles McNerney, who also preceded her in death in October of 2014.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy (James) Luccki of Mishawaka and Jill A. Stamatovich of South Bend; son, John M. (Robyn) Hall of South Bend; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ginger Miloserny of Queen Creek, AZ.
