GRANGER – Richard Charles Ziegert, Jr., 63, passed away at 11:18 PM Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka, IN.  Richard was born on January 13, 1953 in South Bend, IN to the late Richard Charles Ziegert, Sr. and Phyllis Ann (O’Leary) Ziegert. 

Richard is survived by his wife, Olive Lucille (Thompson) Ziegert; three daughters, Katrina (Todd) Rosenthal of Venice, Florida, Pamela (Scott) Tindal of Cabot, North Carolina; and Traci Ruscio of South Bend; two sons, Billy (Debbie) Ruscio of Osceola and Jeremy Maske of South Bend;  He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Austin, Christopher, Jocelyn, Isaac, Matthew, Elizabeth, Quentin, George, Ava and Samantha; four brothers, Danny (Katie) Ziegert, Mark Ziegert and David Ziegert all  of Plymouth and Steve (Janet) Ziegert of Denver, CO; and stepbrother, Pat Marsh of OH.  Richard was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Ziegert; and a stepbrother, Mike Marsh.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN.  Burial and military graveside services will take place at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, IN.  Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
