Robert William Hopkins

Robert William Hopkins 53 of Gary Indiana, has passed on to be with our Lord Savior. Robert was born on July 4, 1964 to the union of Harrison Guy and Lillian Elizabeth (Karns) Hopkins.  Robert attended  Lew Wallace High of Gary, IN . Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved sister Nedra Hopkins, nephew Damien Hopkins and granddaughter Mya Lynn Maddox-Lee all of Gary , IN.

As a child he was known for his adventurous spirit and fearless personality. Robert was loved deeply throughout his years of life. He loved his family and anyone he came in contact with, could feel his presence. Robert keep family close and fought long and hard throughout his trails and tribulations in life. He will forever be missed. Robert is survived by his sister Shawnelle Hopkins of Chicago Illinois, sister Karen Faye Hopkins of Gary Indiana, (his best friend) ,sister Nadine Penn ( long time Friend) of Gray, Indiana ,son Robert Matthew Hopkins of Laporte Indiana, daughter Amy (Brian) Maddox -Lee Hopkins of Merriville Indiana, daughter Michelle Sanchez Morgan of Gary Indiana, a brother and best friend Mario Roman of Gary, Indiana, 13 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews ,whom all loved him deeply.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 3:30 PM at St Therese Little Flower Catholic Church , 54191 North Ironwood Road, South Bend , IN 46635.
