I am thinking of the entire Toepp family at this time. My family has known your family since I was in grade school and I became more associated with Dr. Toepp as a Brother Knight, who recently had been very gracious and supportive of me in a difficulty. He was always a very thoughtful and kind person in this world and had a huge heart. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and sending prayers and blessings of strength, healing comfort, love and peace to you and all who knew him.

Mrs. Toepp and family,
I was so sad to hear of Dr. Toepp's passing. Although I remember your family, you may not remember me right away, as I was your first babysitter and sat for you kids for many years, a couple of you from the time you were only weeks old. I just had to reach out to you and tell you about the special talks I had with your dad. You see, in those days, the man of the family picked the babysitter up, and drove her home. Each way was no more than ten minutes, but your dad and i would always talk about being Catholic. He talked, I mostly listened because he had such a wonderful insight into our religion. But what I remember to this day is that every time we passed by St. Matthew's, he made the sign of the cross. And to this day, I do the same, always remembering the great man that taught me to do that.
My sympathy goes out to you. May all the wonderful memories you have of him give you comfort and strength.

So sad to learn of John's death. You and your family are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers.

Lillian and I are saddened indeed with the news of Dr. Toepp's passing. I knew him as a most kind and loving Brother Knight and a very good friend with a great faith in Our Lord and Savior. It was also very apparent to me that he had a special affection for his loving spouse, his own children and grandchildren. We will miss him for sure but know that he is in a better place now with our God. Blessings be upon his beautiful Marilyn and the entire Toepp family during this time of their grief. May John's soul and the soul of all of the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
