Lillian Maud (Duncan) Charles

Lillian Maud Charles, age 86, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 at 5:08 PM in Mishawaka, IN. Lillian has been a South Bend, IN resident since 1950. She was a wire cutter at Bercliff, formerly Easy Heat & Electric, for 37 years. 

Lillian was born December 31, 1930 in Chickasha, OK to Hollis and Faye (Spencer) Duncan. She was married on December 24, 1952 in Wakarusa, IN to Howard D. Charles, who preceded Lillian in death on December 13, 2012. Lillian is survived by daughters Faye (Robin) Adamson of Terre Haute, IN, Lynne Davis of South Bend, and Ruth Ann Ewing of South Bend; son Mark (Connie) Charles of South Bend; thirteen grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Sharon Duncan of Sullivan, IN. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Howard, parents Hollis and Faye Duncan, two-year-old great grandson, and brothers Franklin Duncan and James T. Duncan.

 

Funeral services for Lillian will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Christ Temple Apostolic Church, 2307 Elwood Ave., South Bend, IN 46628. Reverend Michael McKinnies, Sr., will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the church one hour prior to the service.
