I had met Susie in other settings but then found her in my family setting. Isn't life wild? Susie will be missed - what a lady with such a personality. My prayers are with you at this most difficult time. You will miss her so much but the memories are yours to cherish in your heart forever. No one can steal them from you.

Her honest and up front nature and her willingness to help in any way she could was always a blessing to our organization and to our school. She will be dearly missed. Susie, you were always one to count on to help with sports, PTO, school events and definately always there for your kids, and all the kids of Cassopolis. God broke the mold when he made you, you were truly His special creation. Thank you for always being there, to make us laugh and feel loved. Thank you for being honest, when everyone else was afraid to be. Thank you for making me smile, and yes, sometimes, just shake my head. Unfortunately, I was unable to meet Susie in person, but I do know she raised three wonderful children, Enrique, Brianna, and Victoria in which I have come to know and respect this school year as Principal at Ross Beatty Jr./Sr. High School. When I saw that Susie had passed I felt such sadness in my heart for her husband, children and grandchildren and surviving siblings. She has left her loving earth family and is now in the loving arms of her heavenly family. My thoughts and prayers go to all the Riggs-Matamoros families.

When I heard of Susie being sick and reaching her final days here on this earth all I could think of was: She is going to see her mom and dad in heaven. She missed her mom's birthday but I am sure they knew she was coming and saved her a piece of cake. I know she will be missed by everyone who she left behind but know she was needed in heaven and you will someday all be back together once again.
