Today my heart was broken and sadden after learning my dearest and wonderful friend and brother in arms, passing... Our relationship from the Viet Nam war and our days as Bausch and Lomb reps and our connection as brother-in-laws married to two wonderful women that impact our lives... I sat here to today thinking of my friends birthday and my wishes to him hoping to extend to him...God bless you and in the keeping of God's love forever my friend....and my love to the best friend anyone could ever hope for and the privilege of knowing...never to be forgotten

I am sorry to hear of Cliff's passing. I attended the same high school as Cliff and even in high school he was very kind and respectful of all. My deepest sympathy to his wife and all the Perras family.

My wife, Mari Anna and I, are deeply deeply saddened by Cliff's sudden passing.
Cliff was just about THE finest human being I have ever met. He was always so sincere, warm, kind, thoughtful and caring, to me and my family. I can only aspire to be the extraordinary person that he was. I always thought of him as my surrogate 'big brother'.
We will miss him GREATLY!

I've had the good fortune to call Cliff my friend for these many years. He was a truly multidimensional man: confident yet humble, strong yet compassionate, enterprising yet charitable. He had a capacity for gratitude that was contagious, and thinking on his character has and will continue to inform my own.

Cliff was a mentor, friend, willing ear to many. I met Cliff when I was still in highschool and he was a bright spot in my Dad's Insurance agency. I always appreciated the fact that Cliff always had the time for a quick story or a joke he was always happy to remind me later as an adult to never give up. The world lost a truly great man, the Packer Nation just got a great one in heaven.
God speed.

I met Cliff at Bend of the River Conservation Club.  It didn't take long for him to find out that my son was in the Marine Corp.  He would make a point of asking about him at every meeting.  I really appreciated his interest in my son and his well being.  I will miss seeing him at our meetings.

I was so dad to hear of my cousins passing. We never crossed paths
very often, but when our moms were both in Pinecrest, I was so
impressed with the wonderful, and kind sons she raised. They were
the best. May he rest in peace.

We were deeply saddened to learn about Cliff's death. He always seemed to be so strong and vigorous that the news of his death came as a shock to us. It just doesn't seem right in the order of things.
Cliff touched our lives on so many levels. He was our trusted insurance agent, a valued partner in the work we did for Corvilla, and, simply, a good friend. Words fail to express how we feel about your loss, and the loss we have all sustained. Rachel and I send you our prayers and sympathy.

Perras Family,

My deepest sympathies to you all.  I always looked forward to seeing Cliff in Nadeau, being greeted with his infectious grin and genuine heartfelt hug. He always shared his handsome smile, and I always left him with a smile on my face and with a chuckle  - his fun personality and character certainly will be missed! He undoubtedly left a deep impression with my family and me, and his character will not be forgotten.  Peace to you all, and may the memories you share of Cliff lift your spirits and help you through this difficult time.

With love,

I would like to send my deepest sympathy to Clifford's wife and children! I understand that Clifford's passing came as quite a surprise. I never saw Cliff without a smile on his face! The Perras family didn't see each other as much as we like but each and everyone of us has always been in each others hearts at all times. I believe God just received one of the best angels he'll ever meet! With much love, Jennifer(Perras) Rietveld

Sherice,
We were shocked and saddened by the news of Cliff's sudden death. Only a few weeks ago I received his firm and warm handshake as he was preparing to process to the altar in his capacity as a reader. We will miss his strong voice, his ready smile and his willingness to lend a hand to whatever good cause appealed to him for help and support. Remain assured of our prayers and deepest sympathy.

Cliff is such a Great Man and friend to Corvilla and to all who knew him.
He will be so missed, he is the only man I know who never knew a stranger. He could make friends with anyone. I will uphold you in prayer and ask that the Comforter holds you close.

I was so saddened to hear of Clifford's passing. I only knew him a short time through working at Corvilla. He was so friendly and welcomed me with open arms. While helping with the parking at Bulla for the Notre Dame games it was apparent that everyone knew and loved Clifford (with his waving golf club in one hand and his cigar in the other hand).  Sherice you are such a beautiful and sweet person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this expression of my feelings about Cliff. We both represented MASS MUTUAL but from the opposite ends of the state.  My respect for Cliff is deeper than I can verbalize. I will never forget our good times together and a friendship that has lasted for many years.
Several weeks ago, I read a letter Cliff wrote me in 1994. It showed the quality of his inner being.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.  Also, my son Scott was a good friend of Cliff's.  He is out of the country but will be as shocked as I.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Cliff. He was a friend, and every time you met him it was always a "solid" handshake and a question about how you were doing. Many memories from throughout the years of him and his family. My thoughts and prayers are with Cliff's family.

The community has lost such a wonderful person.  Cliff had to be one of the most kind and happy individuals I have had the opportunity to know.  He not only was a client (1st Source Bank) of mine but a friend.  He shared so many great stories of the family Deer Camp, we discussed the up and downs of the Packer games and he proudly showed me pictures of the  craftsmanship he and Sherice worked on as a team especially the homemade candies.  God Bless you Cliff, you are a wonderful man and will be missed by many.

Sherice and family,
We couldn't have been more shocked when Merritt called and told us the news of Cliff.  We are so saddened by this news, there aren't even words to describe.  Cliff and Jerry were one another's sponsors since 1996, each of them having "normies" as Cliff would say loving them so very much.  Cliff was such a gentle and kind-hearted man.  We always looked forward to your Christmas letter to see what happened "in the year of Uncle Cliff and Aunt Sherice".  I was off the week of the 22nd.  I got that letter to read on the 29th, when I got back from vacation.  It made us cry.  We are so Blessed to have had Cliff in our lives and to have you also Sherice.  You and your family are in our prayers, always.  Love and God Bless you!

Sherice, we are shocked by Cliff's passing. Cliff was a dear friend and always enjoyed our working and pleasure time at Little Flower. He was a real trooper and was extremely proud to have Cliff as a friend. Even though we have moved away, we will miss seeing him when we are back in town. Truly sorry.

Sherise, John and Pam
We are so saddened on the loss of an absolutely amazing Man, Husband, Son, Brother, Brother-in-Law, Uncle, and to us a wonderful Friend.  Cliff’s wonderful qualities and personality are far too many to mention here.  He greeted everyone he met with his brilliant smile, often a hug, and his gentle and kind spirit.  We loved Cliff for everything he meant to Sherise, his parents, John, Pam and their two beautiful daughters.  He truly was a gift to this world and our pleasure was to be able to call Him our Friend ...
Our love,
Laurie, Randy, Andrew and Ben
