Dolly B. Redd

Dolly B. Redd, 78 years old, passed away at 11:50 a.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at  Memorial Hospital, South Bend.  Dolly was born on June 24, 1937 in South Bend to the late Ralph and Ethel (Wright) Richardson.  She has been a lifelong resident.  On April 19, 1961 in South Bend, she was united in marriage to Byron Stephens who passed away on July 26, 1999.  On July 5, 2008 in South Bend, Dolly married James Redd who passed away on March 4, 2013.  Dolly was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Sadler on October 15, 2007; son, Patrick Dopieralski on December 16, 2013; grandson, Travis Vaszari on March 14, 2011; two sisters, Shirley Hartman and Florine Hold; and seven brothers, George, Ralph, Eugene, Russell, Paul, Melvin, and Riley Richardson. 

Dolly is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Vaszari of Bremen; son-in-law, Kevin Vaszari of Lakeville; two grandsons, Aaron Vaszari of South Bend and Dylan Vaszari of Lakeville; three great grandchildren, Mason, Brianna and Trinity; and two sisters, Wava (Chuck) Apelgreen of Lakeville and Maggie Crawford of South Bend. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan Street, South Bend.  Graveside services and burial will follow at Sumption Prairie Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
