Edward E. Warren, Sr., 100, of South Bend, IN passed away at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2016 at home.  He was born on April 30, 1916 in Culver, IN to the late Adril and Amanda (Wiser) Warren.  On October 23, 1943 in South Bend, IN, he was united in marriage to the former Virginia B. Harding.

Mr. Warren is survived by his wife of seventy-two years, Virginia Warren; three sons, Edward E. Warren Jr. of South Bend, IN, Robert G. Warren of South Bend, IN and Michael S. (Jeanne) Warren of Plymouth, IN; five grandchildren, Jennifer Selby, Timothy (Brandi) Warren, Daniel (Holly) Warren, Christopher (Marissa) Warren and Kimberly (Mario) Vega; six great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters and seven brothers.

Mr. Warren was a lifelong area resident.  He retired in 1980 from Uniroyal where he served as a group leader in the cement room.  He was a member of Council Oak Woodcarving Club and Zion United Methodist Church in Culver, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend, IN. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the services.
