Lillian Louise (Crowell) Conley

South Bend –L. Louise Conley, 89, residing in South Bend, IN passed away at 7:40 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Hospice House, South Bend, Indiana.  Louise was born on January 2, 1926 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL to the late William J. and Lillian E. (Murphy) Crowell and has lived in this area since 1953, coming from High Point, North Carolina.

On April 5, 1946 in High Point, NC she was united in marriage to Dwight J. Conley, who preceded her in death in December of 1986.  Dwight and Louise were married for 40 years.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Priscilla (Dale) Fawcett of Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, Anita (Keith) Gendler of Redondo Beach, California, Sylvia (Ralph Whitsel) Conley of New Buffalo, Michigan; three grandchildren, Daniel (Jennifer) Gendler, Joanna (Francis) Fawcett and Scot (Audra Tuveson) Moniz; and five great-grandchildren, Emma Moniz, Sam Moniz, Natalie Tuveson, Christopher Tuveson, and Joe Tuveson.  She was preceded in death by her sister Mary Frances Smith and brother Sonny Crowell

Funeral services for Louise will be at noon on Monday, April 6, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave., South Bend, IN 46615, where friends may gather with the family two hours prior to services. Graveside services will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.  Memorial contributions may be made to Center for Hospice, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
