My eyes still hurt from crying so much on Saturday night when I found out from Bobby and Elicia. I am so sorry for your whole family and will keep all of you in my thoughts at prayers. xoxo

I had the pleasure of working with Marilyn at the Notre Dame Bookstore. She was one of the most genuinely nice people I have ever known. She had a warm & easy going manner and a great smile that always lit up a room. She will be missed

My prayers & thoughts go out to Marilyn's Family. I worked with Marilyn @ Notre Dame Bookstore. We enjoyed talking about our Children & Grandchildren. We always had a great time during football season. She was a fantastic lady. God be with you & your family.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I grew up with Justin and spent a lot of time with him at their home on Chipstead. Mrs. Rhodes was a beautiful and sweet woman. My prayers go out to Justin, Bobby, and family.

She is in your heart. just remember all the memories and she will be with you always. Close your eyes, and you will see her beautiful smile My Mom passed a year ago, it was hard, and sometimes it still is, but I close my eyes and I see her. Just reach out to God and he will help you through this.

My sincere condolences to Heather and Jason and their children on the passing of Marilyn. I was so shocked to hear the sad news. Know that you and your entire family will be in my prayers at this most difficult time, and in the days and weeks ahead. I lost my own mother 10 months ago. May God comfort you and give you the strength you need. Your mom was a lovely lady. Take care.

Heather, Bobby, Justin and Ron, my heart is breaking for you and with you. It was an honor to have known Marilyn not only as a client, but as a long time friend. She was a beautiful person inside and out. I will miss her dearly as all who know her will. I enjoyed our visits over the past 30 plus years. Alot of our conversations started with updates on all of you, her family. She would just beam when speaking of you. It was evident of her love for each one of you, and how proud she was of all your accomplishments. Her grandbabies were the apple of her eye, and shared with me many wonderful moments she was able to share with them. Ron, I know how much she loved and appreciated you. Thank you for being her friend and companion. My prayer for you is that God will comfort all of you and give you His peace in this most difficult time....

My thoughts are with Marilyn's children and grandchildren, my Aunt Betty, Marilyn's siblings, and everyone that loved Marilyn. I have many wonderful memories growing up in Jackson with Marilyn and my cousins. Playing 'hide n seek' at the Knights of Columbus when the families would gather there for Christmas is one of my fondest memories. Such a terrible loss for everyone. I wish there were words to comfort you as you go through this. Hopefully your memories will give you comfort.

We are so saddened that Marilyn has passed. She was a wonderful person that moved 2 doors down from me when I was 5 years old and she gave me the greatest gift: my best friend, Heather. The Rhodes house was my second home. I am forever grateful that Marilyn was in my life growing up and I will miss her very much. I will always remember her fabulous tan, her country decor, her going BIG at Christmas every year (She filled like half the family room with presents. It was just amazing.), her strong spirit, and how very hard she worked to take care of her family. My prayers are with Heather, Bobby, Justin and your families.
