Lafayette, IN - Sean Daniel Crimmins, 27, currently residing in Goshen, apparently took his own life on Tuesday, February 24, 2015.
He was born May 27, 1987 in South Bend to Daniel and Julie Crimmins, who survive. He is also survived by his sister, Kelsey A. Crimmins; grandparents, Henry and Barbara Janus and Fred Crimmins; and aunts and uncles, Neal and Denise Janus, Fred and Buffy Davis, Dianne and Bob Humphrey, James and Mary Sue Crimmins, Beatrice and Joe Kaczmarek, Sam Crimmins, Marty Woods, Joe Crimmins, Kathy Crimmins and Amy Crimmins. Sean also has many cousins left behind, Jessica and Ryan Haveman, Christopher Janus, A.H. and Heather Davis, Kyle Davis, Jay Davis, Heather and Michael Budzinski, Melissa and Matt Riem, Matt Humphrey, Samantha and Bob Pearson, Danielle and Chris Klimek, Joey J. Crimmins, Mike and Rachel Kaczmarek, Ben Kaczmarek, Kim and Joe Janning, Anna Kaczmarek, Alysse Crimmins, Megan Crimmins and Nicholas Crimmins; as well as his favorite four-legged friend, Tess. Sean was preceded in death by his grandmother, Martha Crimmins.
Sean attended St. Joseph grade school in South Bend and Marian High School in Mishawaka. While at Marian, Sean was involved with the tennis team for four years, the golf team for two years and the basketball team for one year. He graduated in 2006 with honors. Sean then attended IU Bloomington, Holy Cross College and IUSB. He enjoyed photography, music and writing.
Sean was affiliated with Hilltop Lutheran Church and Christ the King Lutheran Church, where he received all of his sacraments while attending catholic grade and high school.
Funeral services for Sean will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 28, 2015 in Christ the King Lutheran Church, 17195 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Pastor Steve Schwier will officiate. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 noon until service time on Saturday in the church. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.
