SOUTH BEND - Thomas M. Triplet, 61, residing in South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:30 AM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.
 
Thomas “Tom” was born on August 25, 1953 in South Bend to the late Jacob B. Triplet and Mildred L. (Beck) Triplet and has remained a lifelong resident of this area.  In his younger years, Tom attended Clay High School and enjoyed playing baseball.  
 
On July 9, 1993 in South Bend, he was united in marriage to Patty J. (Collins) Triplet, who survives.  Tom worked for over 32 years as a delivery man for Performance Plus, South Bend.  He was an avid pool player and was a lifetime member of the National Billiards Association.  Tom loved family gatherings, where he was known by family and friends as a “Wild Euchre Player.”  He loved to sit outside on the deck watching the grass grow.
 
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Patty Triplet of South Bend; three daughters, Kim Corse of Elkhart, Lorrie Hoke of Mishawaka, and Holly Triplet of South Bend; ten grandchildren, Charlotte, Ann, Makenzie, Chloe, Cory, Zoe, Jayden, Alexandria, Kentorious, and Brooklyn; sisters, Judy (Frank) Nowak of Colon, Michigan and Linda (Roger) King of Goshen, Indiana.  He is also survived by his “second mom” Laura Belle.  Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Mildred Triplet; and step-brother, Eddy Johnson.
 
A memorial service for Thomas M. Triplet will be at 12:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635, where friends may gather with the family from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Foundation, 501 Comfort Place, Mishawaka, IN 46545.  Palmer Funeral Homes and Southlawn Cremation Services are assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be offered to the family at www.palmerfuneralhomes.com.
